The Ice Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan

The Ice Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan (IHFU) was established on March 28, 2019 with an ambitious and inspiring goal — to make ice hockey a popular and mass-participation sport in the country. On September 26, 2019, the IHFU became a full member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), which opened the door for Uzbekistan's national team to compete on the international stage and participate in official IIHF-sanctioned tournaments.
We believe that hockey has the power to unite people, build character, and open new horizons for youth. Our mission is to create modern infrastructure: ice arenas, sports schools, unique training methods, and programs that will help nurture a generation of strong, courageous, and talented hockey players. We strive not only for victories in national and international competitions but also for the development of a true hockey culture in Uzbekistan — so that hockey becomes a source of national pride and a joy for all those who love sports.
